The Dragon's Gate Tap Trailer is a custom built trailer that is completely refrigerated to draft beer specifications and allow the kegs to be kept cold while the beer is served from the draft beer faucets. The Dragon's Gate Tap Trailer is ideal for company functions, reunions, private parties or any gathering requiring Dragon's Gate Beer.

 

We deliver and pick up the vehicle at your site, as well as prepare it for dispensing. There is a daily rate for the truck plus the cost of beer.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

 

IS THERE A DELIVERY FEE?

Delivery within 15 miles will be free of charge. A rental with a distance of greater than 15 miles will be an additional $3 per mile. A minimum of 4-hour time frame is requested for delivery. Pick-up will be on the next calendar day.

 

HOW BIG IS THE TRAILER?

The trailer is a 5'x8' and weighs a couple of hundred pounds. The trail has wheels and is extremely maneuverable and manageable. There are six taps available to pour our beer (you can use one to six, your choice). The trailer is self-contained and will either run on a generator or a standard household outlet.

 

THE BEER

Each keg of beer must be purchased in full.

Partial kegs at the end of the event will not be reimbursed or left on premise.

 

HOW MUCH BEER WILL I NEED?

A good rule of thumb… minimum of 2 beers (12 oz servings) for every guest at the event.

 

HOW MANY BEERS IN A KEG?
Full-size keg (aka ½ barrel) holds approx. 160 12oz servings
The tall skinny kegs (1/6 barrel) holds 55 12oz servings
*numbers will vary based on foaming and waste

 

WHAT BEER CAN I BUY FROM DRAGON'S GATE BREWERY?

As our brewery inventory changes due to demand and seasonality, the selections will vary. Please ask Jennifer for an up-to-date beer inventory list at the time of rental.

RESERVING THE DRAGON'S GATE TAP TRAILER:

1. The Tap Trailer needs to be reserved at least 10 days prior to the event; beer selections and purchase(s) will be required at least 3 days prior to the event.

2. An Equipment Rental Agreement must be signed in order to confirm the reservation

 

TAP TRAILER EQUIPMENT:

CO2, a generator (or 110volt outlet), and tap handles will be supplied with the truck.

Failure to return these items will result in an additional charge.
